Sketch Dump

Well, it is a drawing blog afterall. So I ought to upload some drawings now and then. And it's not like I wasn't drawing at all lately. It's more like I don't draw while being at home anymore. School is the only place where I can draw in peace, because what else would I have to do right?

My scanner from work is really good, so I abused it for my sake. Be prepared! It's the whole best-of of my sketchbook, which is almost full. (took me long enough, about 11 months or so.)

Mr. Crabs is in town

Since I'm bored and trying to distract me from eating, I'll show you the remaining pictures I've made.

There it issss. There are still roots and stuff missing, but I'm literally broke at the end of this month and I need to wait until I get my paycheck. :|

I unconsciously ordered those plants in groups of the same kind. OCD much.

These rainbowfish were my labrats for trying out if the water specs for my big new aquarium. But don't you worry, nonono! I went to the zoo shop the next day and they told me my water was just fine. :3

It's a bit empty now wih the plants mostly in my big aquarium, but it's for the greater good!

Look at this crab. LOOK AT HIM. He is huge and scary. He's the boss. And my brother (it's his crab) has some kinda love/hate relationship with him. Mr. Crabs does look badass, but he also hates plants. Any plant that my brother tried to grow in there was MURDERED brutally by his steady cropping pinchers.

I PROMISED. So here they are. Well at least some teaser pictures. The completely "furnished" aquarium will be posted soon, too. But right now I just wanna show off how BIG it is.

At first I thought it was 2 m wide. Because it seems way more gigantic  in reality than it looked on the photo.
But as the next picture proofs, its really only 1,60 m.

We've had way bigger trouble getting it than I've had expected. In and out of the car it made scratches all over the furnishing, up the stairs and in my apartment was only possible with my boyfriends parents using a ladder and a rope to make some kind of construction to carry it upstairs. I didn't even carry it most of the time, but that was enough work for one day already.

Worrying about it breaking all the time also made me slightly grumpy.

It's my precious °-° It's an extern filter that takes the water through a pipe out of the aquarium, inside that filter and back into the aquarium, again through a thin pipe. This way I don't have a giant filter inside the aquarium anymore and it looks more natural. *.*

And usually it would cost 100 € alone but I only paid like 100 € for the whole aquarium plus cupboard and filter. Woo!

Phoebe was very interested in the smell of all the new things. She also constantly jumped inside the empty aquarium, that was lying on the couch for the rest of the week. You know. Up on the backrest, down into the aquarium, and then miaowing miserably as soon as she wanted out until someone came and took her, because she couldn't get out herself.

Stupid cat.

This is my old, tiny aquarium (120 l), stuffed with all the plants that I have collected for the day that I would have to fill an aquarium more than thrice as big as this one (400 l).

I don't have an "after" picture of both my aquariums yet, but I tell you that the amount of plants I had is not quite sufficient.

And that's the cupboard that came with it, a day after we've got the aquarium.

Fatty Update

Lost 7,5 kgs in about three weeks! And I already got my Aquarium, even when I hadn't had reached the actual challenge goal yet.

Chapter XIV – Forcing myself to draw :|

I was slacking on drawing again lately, and as usually it starts bothering me after a week or two of no drawing progress at all. So I looked at doodle of a character, which I drew at school in my sketchbook, and made up some kind of bigger illustration with her in it.

I shall upload the original doodle of her next week, when I can get to it.

And as usual, the sketch looks way better than the colored version. Even if this is still WIP, But I'm not sure that I'll finish it anytime soon. I still have to retouch that sorcerer pic (Ragnarok Online) and the commission with the red wizard. First thing tomorrow will be fixing that awful face that I drew the redheaded Wizard on that pic before though. It grosses me out every time I go back on my blog. D:

Despite not actually being 5 kg lighter, I will get the aquarium I wanted (160x50x50) on Saturday. I will not yet fill it with water though - I couldn't - even if I wanted to cheat my way out of my losing-weight-challenge; because I lack the necessary insurance for such a giant thing. It'd weight about half a ton and it only takes 1 m² of space for it. So it might be a bit dangerous to do this without any insurance. I would've gotten the insurance anyway, because it covers most of bad things that could happen to me or others because of me. So whatever, I will wait until I can meet the challenge requirements. /fatty

Chapter Whatever – RAAAAGE

Damnit. Curses!

It's not at all like I imagined it to be when it's at this stage of process. Her Hair is too fuzzy and the staff looks like a giant gloomy dildo with backspikes. And not to mention the super crazy mathafakka background. /sigh

Yes. The last version of it until this version took me like two or three weeks. It's true. I can't draw fast. But I didn't even have the time lately, anyway. I was busy training in this stupid gym and sitting down on my couch when I get home and stare in my aquarium and do nothing. Very busy. And most of the time it end up with my arm stirring through the aquarium, annoying all the poor sick fishies.

My neon fishes had the Ichtyo. It's a sickness where they get white dots all over, and those white dots apparently killed 20 of 27 fishes. And the remaining 7 still got badly torn fins. ARRR.

I hate losing weight. It's exhausting and it doesn't go too well when you're actually craving for greasy and spicy food all the fucking time. I stuff myself with fruits and curd cheese with baby carrots. BUT I STILL DON'T LOSE ZE WEIGHTZ.

Last lunch I started fantasizing about what I could probably eat. Spicy rice with veggies. Or noodles with pesto. Mmm..

GOD DAMNIT STOMACH.

In the end I just ate a tiny  slice of bread with half a cheeseslice and salad.
